Doctors are getting on board with genAI, survey shows
A survey conducted by Wolters Kluwer reveals a significant gap between physicians and patients’ readiness for artificial intelligence (AI) use in healthcare. While 81% of US physicians agreed that generative AI can improve interactions with patients, physicians overestimated patient acceptance of AI-assisted medical advice. The survey also noted high physician standards for AI tools, with 89% demanding transparency regarding the sources of clinical decision support data.
