Doctors and medical clinics in Australia are being urged to upgrade their cybersecurity due to an increasing number of online threats. Some doctors are even considering reverting to paper records because of the risk of cyberattacks. The Cyber Wardens program, a free initiative supported by the Government and industry, assists small clinics to combat this threat. However, many medical professionals are unprepared and lack the required digital literacy. Continuous Professional Development (CPD) training is necessary to help doctors and clinic staff recognise and tackle potential attacks.
