Ducktail Malware Targets the Fashion Industry

Ducktail malware is evolving and targeting fashion industry marketing professionals with a new campaign. It installs a browser extension that steals Facebook business and ads accounts, with the intent of selling the credentials. The malware is disguised as a Google Docs Offline extension and uses a new programming language, Delphi, which makes detection difficult. The cybersecurity firm Menlo Security suggests measures such as training staff on social engineering tactics and using multifactor authentication to protect against these attacks.
