DXC Technology says global network is not compromised following Latitude Financial breach

Australia-based Latitude Financial recently suffered a cyber attack in which data from 14 million people were accessed, significantly higher than the initially estimated 330,000. Among the stolen data were 7.9 million Australian and NZ driver’s licence numbers and 53,000 passport numbers. Latitude believes the attack originated from a major vendor used by the company. The Australian Federal Police and Australian Cyber Security Centre are currently investigating the incident.
