ECRI offers ways to reduce social media risks

ECRI Institute has released a new risk analysis titled “Social Media in Healthcare” to help healthcare providers address the risks associated with social media. The organization recommends that hospitals and healthcare organizations develop plans for the use of social media, including defining their audience, establishing responsible management, and implementing policies to address risks related to privacy and reputation. The risk analysis is available for free to help improve patient care.
