EHR deployment at Lovell FHCC is first joint DOD-VA rollout

The Partnership for Defense Health by Leidos has launched MHS Genesis, the US Defense Department’s Federal Electronic Health Record system, at the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center in Chicago. This represents the first collaboration between the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Veterans Affairs, the Federal Electronic Health Record Modernization office, and Leidos. The system is now active at over 3,890 global sites. Future deployments are expected at additional federal agencies.
