EHR developers adopt FHIR-based oncology standardization

Several electronic health record vendors, including Epic, Oracle Health, Meditech and others, have voluntarily agreed to adopt the US Core Data for Interoperability Plus Cancer (USCDI+ Cancer). This move aims to improve data sharing by healthcare providers, streamline care coordination for cancer patients and accelerate research. This agreement is part of the Cancer Moonshot Initiative, a program aimed at improving patient care and decreasing costs for cancer patients.
