BlackBerry’s quarterly intelligence report reveals a 70% rise in new malware attacks detected by its AI-based cybersecurity solutions, with 26 cyber-attacks per minute. Notably, the financial and healthcare sectors were the most targeted. The report also highlighted the increase in double extortion tactics by ransomware groups, namely LockBit, Cl0p, Cuba, and ALPHV.
