Eli Lilly's weight loss drug no longer in shortage

Eli Lilly’s weight loss drugs Zepbound and Mounjaro are now available in the US, after more than a year of shortage, according to the FDA. However, the agency still lists an overall shortage of the drugs, allowing potentially dangerous compounded versions to stay in the market. Lilly has warned against phony or compounded versions of tirzepatide, the active ingredient in the drugs.
