Emory Healthcare hit by ransomware, data of over 200,000 patients hacked
Emory Healthcare in Atlanta was hacked by a ransomware known as Harak1r1 the 0.2 Bitcoin Ransomware, according to MacKeeper security researcher Chris Vickery. The attack resulted in the wiping of a database belonging to the Brain Health Center, and a demand for a ransom of 0.2 bitcoin.
