Exclusive: Ministers urged to release details of cybersecurity audit at hacked NHS health board

Ministers and NHS Dumfries & Galloway are refusing to disclose details of a cybersecurity audit conducted three months before the health board was targeted by criminals, leaking over three terabytes of data onto the Dark Web. Opposition politicians request full transparency to ensure the health board meets expected cybersecurity standards. However, the Scottish Government and NHS Dumfries & Galloway cite reasons of maintaining their security as why they cannot share the audit results.
