Over 1.5 million email servers running versions of the Exim mail transfer agent are reportedly exposed to a vulnerability that bypasses protections against installing harmful apps or executing code. While no active exploitation of the vulnerability is known, the facile nature of attacks and the large number of vulnerable servers warrants attention.
