Solventum, a healthcare subsidiary of 3M, is looking to expand the use of its chromatography material, the 3M Harvest RC Chromatographic Clarifier. It was developed as an alternative to centrifugation or filtration and aims to improve bioprocessing efficiency by removing cells and debris in one step. Masa Nakamura, a senior specialist at Solventum, hinted at the technology’s potential for wider applications in cell therapy.
