Expert opinion: NHS reveals data leak

A former employee at a National Health Service (NHS) consultant has accidentally sent a USB stick with the personal information of a large number of patients. The files included correspondence regarding miscarriages, test results and urgent surgery for children. It is not known whether the error was a one-off. The information commissioner is investigating.
