Experts warn of JinxLoader loader used to spread Formbook and XLoader

Researchers from Palo Alto Networks and Symantec have discovered a new Go-based malware loader called JinxLoader, which delivers malware such as Formbook and XLoader. Spotted on the hacking forum Hackforums, the threat uses phishing messages to trick recipients into opening a password-protected archive, thus initiating the deployment of the JinxLoader payload. The malware, named after a League of Legends character, is being sold for $60 a month or $120 a year, with a lifetime license for $200.
