Fastly Research Reveals Businesses Lost Almost 10% of Their Revenue From Cyber Attacks in the Last Year

Fastly has released its annual global cybersecurity report, highlighting the significant impacts of cyberattacks on businesses. The study found that businesses lose an average of 9% of their annual revenue due to cyberattacks and security breaches, which also cause network outages, data loss, web application downtime, and customer account compromises. It also found recovery from a security breach takes up to eight months. Furthermore, the report revealed that companies are planning to increase their cybersecurity budgets despite budget usage uncertainties and talent shortages in the field.
