FBI joins probe into LockBit 3.0 breach

The FBI is aiding the investigation into a ransomware attack on German car parts manufacturer Continental. The company’s data, potentially including sensitive partner information, is being sold online for $50m by ransomware gang, LockBit 3.0. Reports suggest stolen materials may include minutes of supervisory board meetings and draft resolutions, totalling approximately 40TB of data.
