Fears NHS cyber attack impact on London hospitals ‘will last weeks’ as operations and…

A cyber attack on several NHS hospitals in London, including Guy’s, St Thomas’, Kings College, Harefield Hospital and Royal Brompton hospitals, has resulted in cancelled operations and delays in blood transfusions. The attack, affecting IT systems run by private company Synnovis, could take weeks to resolve. GP surgeries and hospital pathology services in several London boroughs have also been affected. Hospitals across the city are now accepting extra patients.
