Financial services and telecommunications among prime targets

Malaysia’s financial and telecommunications sectors are prime targets for cyber attackers due to their substantial assets and sensitive data stored, according to Ensign InfoSecurity Malaysia director Jeremy Moke. He emphasized the importance of regulations, collaborative defense strategies, and regular cybersecurity training to mitigate such threats. Moke also called for comprehensive cybersecurity solutions for risk identification, prevention, detection, response, and recovery to cope with the evolving cybersecurity needs.
