Firewall Bug Under Active Attack Triggers CISA Warning

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has warned that Palo Alto Networks’ PAN-OS is under active attack and needs immediate patching. Palo Alto Networks has issued a fix for the high-severity bug that can be exploited by hackers to carry out ambitious denial-of-service (DoS) attacks without authentication. CISA has added the bug to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, urging public and private organizations to prioritize remediation.
