First American cyberattack, Iran APT33, ransomware victim spike

The US title insurance provider First American has experienced a cyberattack, forcing it to use a temporary site, while the Iran-based hacker group APT33 is launching attacks against defense contractors. The number of ransomware victims reaching leak sites rose by 39% MoM in November 2021 to 484, according to a Corvus Insurance report, while Cloud Atlas is targeting Russian firms.
