eHealthTrust has opened its first health record bank (HRB) in Phoenix, where consumers can store and control their health information. The company is also in active discussions with physicians interested in its Web-based, zero-cost electronic health records (EHRs). Although many physicians are hesitant due to the conversion of paper to digital records and the initial drop in productivity, eHealthTrust believes their proposition is attractive. They are also looking to partner with Arizona Health-e Connection (AzHeC) to move physicians to the meaningful use of EHRs.
