Five pillars in cyber strategy for health and social care
The forthcoming UK cybersecurity strategy for health and social care will comprise five key focuses over three years, according to Phil Huggins, Chief Information Security Officer for the Department of Health and Social Care. The strategy will extend the scope of security to include all organisations in the care sector, aim for security-conscious staff culture, ensure strong security systems, and become a model for the public sector in recovery response. The strategy also intends to shift from compliance checks to continuous improvement.
