Flaw prompts 100 hack attacks a minute, security company says

A flaw in computer code Log4J, used by millions of online services, is facilitating up to 100 hacking attempts every minute, with 40% of global corporate networks targeted, according to Check Point. Known as the Log4shell vulnerability, the flaw has been deemed severe by US officials and corporations, while Crowdstrike said it was ‘trivial’ to exploit. Fixes have been issued but still need to be activated across many systems.
