Frontier Communications Faces Multiple Class Action Lawsuits After Data Breach

Frontier’s computer systems were attacked by ransomware group RansomHub in April 2024, with the group publishing Frontier customers’ personal identifiable information after the company allegedly ignored its contact requests. Frontier, which disclosed the attack to the SEC in May, contacted the approximately 751,895 affected customers in June, offering credit monitoring and identity theft resolution services. Class action lawsuits claim that Frontier was negligent in maintaining its systems.
