Gabriel Voisin on the impact of GDPR

Bird and Bird’s Gabriel Voisin will discuss the impact of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on the health sector at the Public Cyber Security conference in December. As part of the implementation of GDPR in 2018, fines will be levied on organisations breaching data regulations, and organisations will also be required to advise the Information Commissioner’s Office if data regulations are breached, or potentially face a £8.8m ($11.7m) fine.
