Geisinger is now part of Risant Health

Kaiser Permanente has concluded its acquisition of Geisinger, making it the first member of Risant Health, a Kaiser spinoff. Risant aims to advance value-based care models, planning to acquire four or five other health systems over the next few years. With the transaction concluded, Geisinger’s president and CEO, Dr. Jaewon Ryu, will become the first CEO of Risant Health.
