Organized ID fraud in North America has increased 44%, with Asia-Pacific region suffering the most attacks, according to AU10TIX. Traditional methods of fraud, like using personal data, still dominate, but emerging technologies are making fraud more automated and independent. AU10TIX noted the high-risk regions and sectors need more protection measures. The payment and commerce sectors were the most targeted after cryptocurrency and trading, which represented 47% of all attacks.
