Germany offers Cybersecurity Labels for mobile devices

Germany’s Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) began issuing security labels for IT devices on August 14, 2024. These labels provide a snapshot of the device’s security level and include guidelines manufacturers must comply with. The initiative not only safeguards personal data from hackers but also helps to build consumer trust and confidence in IT products.
