A widespread tech outage has caused disruptions to airlines, health systems, and companies around the world due to a faulty software update by Texas-based cybersecurity firm, CrowdStrike. Several hospitals had to cancel procedures and emergency communication services were affected in several states. CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz announced they are actively working with affected customers and have deployed a fix.
