Google ads for KeePass, Notepad++ lead to malware

Google users searching for KeePass password manager and Notepad++ text editor may unknowingly acquire malware, according to Malwarebytes’ Director of Threat Intelligence, Jérôme Segura. He warns that the malware is concealed in apparently-legitimate search engine ads. He advises individuals and businesses to be cautious about where they download programmes from.
