Google is upgrading its Play Protect malware protection system to include real-time scanning at a code level to better detect potential malware in Android apps. This development aims to enhance security against polymorphic malware, which can change its identifiable features to avoid detection. The upgrade comes amid a significant increase in Android malware scams in Singapore.
