Google Cloud, Mayo Clinic working on new generative AI use cases

Google Cloud has announced new innovations for generative AI in its collaboration with Mayo Clinic. Mayo Clinic is an early adopter of the Enterprise Search capability in Google’s Generative AI App Builder, which combines search with generative AI to provide faster and more conversational access to important information for clinicians and staff. The search tool now supports HIPAA compliance, opening up new use cases for data from sources such as electronic health records. Mayo Clinic will also explore Generative AI support in Vertex AI to improve workforce productivity and automate tasks.
