Android’s malware-scanning service, Google Play Protect, flagged popular Samsung apps as malware, causing disruptions among users of the apps, Samsung Wallet and Samsung Messages. The problem, according to Samsung, was due to a “temporary failure of the Google server” and has since been resolved.
