Google sues scammers that allegedly released a malware-filled Bard knockoff

Google is suing scammers, allegedly based in Vietnam, who tricked users into downloading a malware-infected ‘unpublished’ version of its Bard AI software via social media. The lawsuit, filed in California, seeks an order to prevent the scammers setting up similar domains. Google had issued over 300 takedown requests prior to filing the lawsuit.
