Goverment sets strategy to bolster NHS and social care’s cyber defence

The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) in England has launched a cyber security strategy to secure health and adult social care services by 2030. Aimed at building cyber resilience, the strategy involves five measures: identify potential harm areas, utilize national resources for a centralized response, improve workforce engagement, integrate security into emerging technology and prioritize quick recovery. Assessments will be done to build and measure resilience from 2023 onwards.
