The Indian government has launched the Cyber Swachhta Kendra, a Botnet Cleaning and Malware Analysis Centre, in a bid to improve the country’s cyber security. Part of the country’s Digital India initiative, the centre, run by the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team and working in cooperation with internet service providers and industry, will seek to detect botnet infections and help end-users to clean and secure their systems to prevent further infections.
