GP fears patients will suffer harm after NHS cyber attack

A cyber attack on the NHS in London has led to a call for O-type blood donors and the cancellation of hundreds of operations, while six large London Trusts including Guy’s and St Thomas’, Great Ormond Street and King’s College Hospital have been affected. One GP – whose surgery cares for 10,000 patients, all of whose blood tests have been cancelled – said he was concerned about the long-term harm to patients.
