Guardian newspaper hit by suspected ransomware attack

The Guardian newspaper experienced a suspected ransomware attack, affecting its IT systems causing disruption to behind-the-scenes services in the last 24 hours. The media company has however, continued to publish globally via its website, and is confident it can print the physical paper. Staff were asked to work from home and believe the incident might be a ransomware attack.
