Hackers discover way to access Google accounts without a password
Cybersecurity researchers have discovered a malware hack that allows threat actors to access users’ Google accounts without their passwords. The technique utilizes third-party cookies to bypass two-factor authentication, even after a user resets their password. The exploit is currently being tested by hackers and was initially revealed by an anonymous user on Telegram. Researchers recommend continuous monitoring for technical vulnerabilities and potential cyber threats and turned on Enhanced Safe Browsing in Chrome to prevent phishing and malware downloads.
