Voice and language tool vendor Nuance Communications suffered a $98m loss in revenue due to the global NotPetya cyber attack in June 2017, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The company is also facing further losses in 2018 as it enhances its security. In addition to the attack, Nuance recently experienced a breach of a single transcription platform, affecting the records of 45,000 individuals.
