Hackers known as Qilin have published 400GB of stolen data from UK pathology firm Synnovis, including patient details, blood test descriptions, and Synnovis’ financial information. The data, which was stolen during a June 3 cyber attack on hospitals across London, was published following the failure of ransom demands. Synnovis is still unable to process most blood tests, impacting patient care across numerous sites. Investigations by NHS England, the National Crime Agency, and the National Cyber Security Centre are ongoing.
