Hackers publish NHS patients’ data after cyber attack as health chiefs ‘deplore the release’ of confidential details

A hacker group, INC Ransom, claimed to possess three terabytes of data from NHS Scotland after a cyber attack on NHS Dumfries and Galloway. The group posted a ‘proof pack’ of the data on its dark web blog. The board confirmed the data’s authenticity, with CEO Jeff Ace condemning the confidential information’s release.
