Hackers stole Russian prisoner database to avenge death of Navalny

Anti-Kremlin hackers retaliated within hours of opposition leader Alexey Navalny’s death, posting a photo of Navalny on a Russian prison system website. The hackers claim to have also stolen a database containing data on thousands of Russian prisoners, their relatives and contacts, including those in the Arctic penal colony where Navalny died.
