Hackers threaten to release huge amount of NHS Scotland data

A ransomware group called INC Ransom has threatened to release three terabytes of sensitive NHS patient and staff data if their demands are not met. Proof in the form of letters and medical reports were published as evidence of the data breach. The attack was confirmed on 26 March and the ransomware gang’s claims have been supported in part by NHS Dumfries and Galloway, which had previously reported a cyber incident.
