Hackers threaten to release huge amounts of stolen NHS Scotland patient data

Hackers have threatened to release three terabytes of NHS Scotland patient and staff data. The INC Ransom group has proved its breach by posting samples of the data on the dark web. This follows a recent cyber attack on NHS Dumfries and Galloway, which put a “significant quantity” of patient data at risk. Authorities are working to address the situation.
