Hackers threaten to release ‘huge volume’ of stolen NHS Scotland data

Cybercrime group INC Ransom has threatened to release three terabytes of stolen data from NHS Scotland. Information stolen includes clinical reports, hospital records, email conversations and other sensitive data. The targets included NHS Dumfries and Galloway, who reported “ongoing” attacks on the 15th of March. Both Police Scotland and the Information Commissioners Office are investigating the incident.
