Hackers Use Fake Browser Updates for AMOS Malware Attacks Targeting Mac Users

Cybercriminals are exploiting the ClearFake browser update scheme to initiate Atomic Stealer (AMOS) malware attacks on Mac users, according to software security firm, Malwarebytes. The AMOS campaign was originally noticed in April 2023. Subsequently, ClearFake, an AMOS malware attack, was first detected in August 2023.
