A new cyber attack campaign is utilising MSIX Windows app package files for popular software like Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and more to distribute a novel malware called GHOSTPULSE. Users are lured into downloading these packages via compromised websites or malvertising, which then downloads GHOSTPULSE on their system. The malware includes SectopRAT, Rhadamanthys, Vidar, Lumma, and NetSupport RAT.
