Half of IT decision makers admit they don’t have a cybersecurity strategy in place

According to a new study from BT Group and KPMG, nearly half of IT decision makers do not have a strategy in place to prevent cyber attacks. The study also found that while 89% of business leaders are concerned about a digital assault by organized crime, only 22% feel fully prepared to combat security breaches by these criminals. Cybersecurity is on the agenda at board meetings at least quarterly for 73% of executives. Criminal organizations continue to find vulnerabilities to exploit despite implementation of sophisticated cybersecurity technologies.
